During my Chi Nei Tsang treatment today, my teacher asked me, "If you could let go of one thing right now, what would it be?" I took a while to respond while she leaned heavily with her elbow into my abdomen. "I can see where I want to be, and I see where I am, but I don't know how I'm going to get from Point A to Point B." "You don't need to know." There's the power: in letting go of needing to know, in knowing that I'm not really making all of the decisions anyway, in trusting that God, or the Universe, or Oneness, or Cosmic Consciousness, is co-creating my reality and so long as my intentions are kind and pure, I'll be taken care of. Even as much as I've seen these beautiful miracles manifest right in front of my own eyes, I still come upon times when I feel challenged to keep believing. For the past month or so, my teacher has been working on my kidney/spleen/liver meridians. The kidneys are healed by zhi, wisdom: clear perception and self-understanding. The liver is mended with kindness (ren). The spleen is healed by the cultivation of xin. This can mean trust, faith, honesty, confidence, belief. These concepts are all interconnected and tied together by LOVE: clarity, kindness, and faith. Let go of fear. Be clear in your intentions. Be kind. Have faith that you'll be taken care of. You are taken care of. You are love. Choose love.
